Each holiday season in the Greenville SC area, we celebrate the season with fantastic Holiday Light Shows!!!
This year is no different! 

Rain or high winds mean “Don’t go.” Both of these weather conditions can make the holiday lights dangerous for our hosts. They do this because they love it and love to make YOU smile!

1. Upstate Holiday Light Show

What: At the Greenville-Pickens Speedway the nights are lit up this holiday season with the largest interactive holiday lights display in the Upstate

Create a new Family Tradition at The Upstate Holiday Light Show which features animated scenes and millions of lights synchronized to your favorite holiday classics along with other attractions!

  • Holiday-Themed Petting Zoo,
  • Christmas trees to purchase and
  • Santa’s Workshop with Santa for the kids and Santa’s cookies and hot chocolate treats

Drive through the wilderness preserve amongst the roaming creatures and
under the holiday lights! Maybe Buffy the Bison will lick your window like she did ours!

What: The Holiday Lights Safari Benefit is an award-winning event and the most exciting seasonal attraction in the Upstate of South Carolina! You drive your own vehicle through nearly 100 acres magically decorated with millions of twinkling lights, plus HERDS OF LIVE ANIMALS, dazzling holiday themes, light sculptures, a life-sized Nativity, including a chance to feed the deer!

Please note: Only the admission gate will close at the end time listed here. If you arrive at admissions near 9 PM, the gates may close but the event stays open for you to enjoy the Holiday Lights Safari experience.

What: Sponsored by Greenville Rotary, lighted walking trails, Santa Claus, a balloon artist, concessions, and giant holiday greeting cards created by local area students.

4. The Christmas Gift Light Festival

What: What: Over 48,000 people visit the lights in Anderson each year to see the endless loop of lights and contribute to the charities that are supported by this festival! You and your family can enjoy the Marching Soldiers, the Dancing Ballerina, the Nativity Scene, and visit Santa and his elves in the Santa Village. 

This year they are growing. They have moved from the 12 acre park to the new 45 acre park, with 2.5 miles of roadway. 3.5 million Christmas lights and a larger Santa village than ever before. With a one-time entry fee for unlimited time in the park, until you decide to leave, you can enjoy all of the sites and wonders of the Christmas Gift.

What: Daytime or Nighttime Christmas celebrations for all. Put Christmas at Biltmore on your calendar this season, and enjoy choices from, a daytime visit, an evening with lights and carolers, an overnight stay. Santa, lights, carolers, America’s Christmas traditions at George Vanderbilt introduced his new home to family and friends on Christmas Eve 1895.

Professional photographer on site. (Please no personal photos taken from the stage.)

Everyone can see Santa and have their picture taken for free.

The photographer will give you a card to go online to see your photo and decide if you want to purchase.

Vehicle traffic is "one way" only. Enter from Wade Hampton or Wildwood; no vehicles from Ridgewood at Lee Rd will be allowed to see the show. Please dim your headlights for the people ahead of you.

Foot traffic is encouraged. Parking is available at Faith Baptist Church then walk over. Parking at the church is not available on nights they have service like Wednesday and Sunday nights. There is NEVER parking on Lee Rd or within the neighborhood

What: Griswold has the most lights, displaying over 480k light synchronized to music

When: Nov.27 – Jan 1 (Dusk- 10:30 pm)

Directions:

From downtown Greenville: Head northeast on N Church St toward E Elford St. Turn right onto Wade Hampton Blvd. Turn left onto Woodland Ln. Turn right onto Ridgewood Dr. Destination will be on the left.

What: Over 100k animated lights on display, so pull up and tune into 107.7 fm and watch the amazing light show dance to the music.
